Cool Tools Episode 31 Screencast: Meebo

This screencast will give you a brief overview of Meebo, a free online tool for aggregating your various instant messenger accounts. Meebo doesn't ask you to download any software and within minutes you can be chatting with friends on Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, Google talk, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, and Flixster.

Hi Fern....nice job showing many of the features of Meebo visually. I liked your pace and transitions from one thing to the next...engaging and easy to follow.

I didn't know that you could invite people by dragging them. Cool!

Hi Fern,
Thanks for showing us more of the features of Meebo. Do you think you'll be using Meebo or Digsby for your personal use?

Hi Kathy,
Lately I find myself using Digsby - at least at home. I like having my emails and facebook integrated with it. At work I sometimes use Meebo since I can't download Digsby. But I'm not giving up on Meebo yet and plan to keep watching them. I think their Firefox extension is annoying - it'd be better if you didn't need to click back into the Meebo window to chat.

Hi Fern, thanks for creating this great screencast. I have been using Meebo for a while now, but I never had the opportunity to use the Meebo chatroom. I will have to give that a try!
