Thanks for sharing. Do you (or anyone) know if there is a way to change the times listed on the side of the calendar? I would love to have it reflect the different periods of the school day, so I could use it for scheduling our library.

I had just looked into using Google calendar in my wiki project. Thanks for the demo and suggestions for other uses in your screencast and podcast.

Thanks for this screencast Rodney. I'd heard about Google Calendar but never bothered to investigate. Now I plan on using this for our library schedule and adding to my final project

Hi Rodney,
It never ceases to amaze me how many great tools Google offers. Thanks for such an informative screencast. I think I'll try using Google Calendar for my library schedule next year to share with all the teachers.

Hi Rodney,

I am glad you featured Google Calendar on your episode of Cool Tools as I think it's one of the most useful Web 2.0 tools out there and a good example of what cloud computing can offer. I have been using Google Calendar to sync with iCal and my G1 phone and except for a few misfire, it works flawlessly.

I like the feature that you can create several calendars and you can mange it individually to make it shared, private or public. I also like the feature wherein you can have Google Calendar email to your email account or text through SMS event reminders individually or in digest form.

I think just with our class alone, you have convinced a lot of our classmates of its worth judging from the comments. Thanks!
